Children’s, youth and adult Sunday school classes begin at 9 a.m. each Sunday.

Children’s Classes

Nursery

Our nursery is staffed by safe-sanctuary-trained adults and young adults who love kids. Children from infancy to age 4 can play, nap, snack and learn during all three services and Sunday school. Nursery care is also available for many special events. The nursery is supervised by Marcey Caldwell. First floor, Education Building.

Three-four-five year-olds

Crafts, games, Bible stories and videos are all part of the weekly class time. First floor, Education Building.

Kindergarten, first, and second grades

Crafts, games, Bible stories and videos are all part of the weekly class time. Second floor, Education Building.

Third, fourth, and fifth grades

Videos, Bible lessons from Cokesbury and faith-based activities and discussions help prepare this age group to move up to middle school. Second floor, Education Building.

Youth Classes

Middle school

Sixth- through eighth-grade students are ready for more ambitious activities, but they’re not too old to play. Class includes competitive games, Bible reading, a weekly video segment, fellowship and some emphasis on life application of faith concepts. Second floor, Education Building.

High school

High school students are encouraged to think for themselves, with the Bible as their guide, and sometimes even debate about faith questions. Occasional breakfasts out (or in) are a part of this class. Second floor, Education Building.

Adult Classes

Back to Basics

This popular class studies the basic truths of the Christian faith. The class pulls information from several resources, but their study adheres to what the Bible teaches. Corner class room, first floor, Education Building)

Challengers

Identifying where Biblical faith and contemporary issues intersect, Tom Maxwell leads the discussion to help persons live faithfully in an increasingly challenging world. They meet in the lounge, first floor, Education Building.

Contemporary Christian Characters

Under the leadership of Karma and Earl Haller, the group follows a scripture-based study guide and will bring out the character in you! Chapel (first floor, Education Building).

Foundation

This is a class for adults from college age to approximately forty. The group studies life application of Biblical principles and enjoys fellowship with each other in a social setting. The class is led by John and Nancy Ward. First floor, Education Building.
